All right, so we have, you may not be aware, a traditional first question for first guests, Lynn. Were you a weird kid?

That's a great first question. I stood apart a little bit I think I and I really wanted to be you know just

fit in and do things like everybody else you know I even tried out to be a cheerleader didn't get it.

You know I was I had a certain curiosity about certain things I think and I was always

interested in spirituality and I was probably pretty eccentric.

Be from a family that encouraged that sort of spiritual quest or were you the sort of black sheep at home as well?

I wasn't a black sheep. My parents were great. My parents were great enablers. They were very different for me in lots of ways. I adore them, they adore me and you know, my brother too, we were all close, but, and I had lots of things in common like I liked sport and swimming and boating and things like that as my dad did.

But they, I was,

ours were the first generation that went to university

and they were very good about I said I

want to be a writer from the time I was about seven and they were fine with that and I

think my dad's only caveat was learn how to type in case that doesn't work out for you.
