That's part one. And then the part two is going to be if it doesn't happen, what are they going to be there, you know, what could be the potential reasons why it doesn't happen? And then part three, we'll talk or part three of what we talked about today was a quick Wisconsin for you. It's not going to be part of our, of our weekly midweek rundown as opposed like full shows we will have a mailback

today that's going to be dependent upon time but we wanted to have a special guest on today

to kind of preview some things and talk a little bit of Notre Dame from an outside point of

view and of course that is our friend bill bender Ohio bill, Bill? Ohio Bill. Big Ten, Bill is the popular name on the, the podcast with Bill Troche. And we had Big Ten Scott Docterman today from the athletic to talk 2014 plow. And for your listeners, go, I encourage you to go listen to that. It was a. That's on the CFB Nation channel by the way, our CFB Nation channel. That was fun. So yeah, I'm happy to be on with you guys. It's been a minute, Trev. Good to see you. And, you know, we can go wherever you want. Yeah. So, Bill, we're going to have you on number one. You guys released a college football preview magazine today. Sporting News did. Bill obviously is a lead college football writer for sporting news. So you have that out, Treb. Treb and I've already bought ours. I bought one for me, had one shipped to Treb. And so we obviously worked through that. But we wouldn't have you on, Bill. Obviously, the Notre Dame guys, we're going to talk about Notre Dame all summer. But we wanted to kind of get some of your thoughts on Notre Dame. We wanted to get some of your thoughts on the college football playoff. Not so much from the 2014, but first and foremost, your thoughts on, you know, your predictions and who you think the top contenders are for a title, where Notre Dame fits in there. And then, of course, you and I will share some of our thoughts in the 2014 playoff because I think we're both not just against it,

but I think against it with vigor, I would say is a nice way of putting it.

So we'll talk about that.

And then you and I are going to get back together here soon, either on our show or over on the CFB Nation show,

and we're going to talk about some of these hearings today because I thought some things were really, really good, and I saw some things were just like, I just wanted to scream at my television. So we're going to talk about that. But, Trev, we're going to kick things off. Obviously, when you and I are going to dive into later about why Notre Dame is going to win a championship. So we'll kick it to you, Bill, and say, what are your thoughts on this Notre Dame football team in 2026? What do you like about it? What do you think this team's ceiling is? What are some things that maybe you look back and say, hey, if they maybe don't live up to expectations, this could be the reason why.

So let's just dive into it, man.

Let's get your thoughts on the Irish here in 2026.

Well, as you pointed out with the preview, right, that, you know, this is a team that

is very high expectations. And we have them in our playoff

bracket. I put them in the national championship game with the thought that this team

easily could win the national championship. So excited to see that. You know, there's obviously

some hurdles to that with the, you know, we picked Indiana.

Now, one of the things that I was running this down with you, if you look at our preseason top 25, the top 10s right here on the magazine, which I know we're going to talk about right there.

You know, Indiana is number one, but the internal debate we had right away is like, okay,

so do we just make the bracket Indiana and Ohio State in the championship game,

which is, as you know, the bracket doesn't typically go like that.
