Well, I wonder if you like, I do think people are drawn to monsters, partly because they might have had like, you know, like a tough kind of experience in their life and then the monster represents like the fears and the struggles.

But then also like a lot of my students identify with the monsters.

getting into that and then it was, you know, kids are interested in dinosaurs, so

Godzilla made sense and I was interested

in guerrillas which are kind of monstrous in a way and so king kong and all that kind of

stuff but I definitely wanted to be the monster a lot of the time. Why I identified with it, I don't

know, that's strange, but I can remember literally wrapping myself had to tell
