Welcome to this auditory episode of Talking Lamar. In this episode, I'm talking about growing up with my daddy wearing a hearing aid.

What are you talking about? I am talking to you. That's just what I was talking about. It's talking Lamar. This came up as a situation with my wife and I. We had just got through doing one of our other talking Lamar's, and we were talking about how your teeth affect your health and that kind of stuff. And so my wife, who never listens, she said, what did you do the talking Lamar about? And I said, well, we talked about your teeth and blah, blah, blah. She goes, oh, my God. She said, that's a boredest thing I've heard in my wife. Why would you do that? I said, what are you talking about? She says, oh, my gosh, it's so boring. I said, well, if you listen to it, maybe you'd understand it wasn't quite so boring. We had a pretty good time talking about it. Would you all agree with me that we had a pretty good time talking about it? We had a very good time. And Lamar, I feel your pain. Because we were, I had it. We had a, this was was about six months ago a new true word stuff episode had just

released and I said to Kevin I need to I need to listen to this because max and I always like to

listen to it to mostly so we can find things to find fault with and yeah if I screwed to

yeah yeah max looks for his mistakes I look for mine and he goes well well actually I wanted to listen to blah, blah, blah, you know, because it's history. And I was like, well, so is true weird stuff. And he looked to me and went, oh, they do not. I should have warned you. I forgot to warn you that Carla hung on your every word until you got this job.

Well, let me say this. Let me say this. You do remember back before I went full time when I was doing

movie reviews, how many times, because I used to do it on the phone, how many times was I on the

phone doing their movie review and you could hear the call waiting coming in,

clicking for me to answer the phone because my wife was calling me on the phone while I was doing a movie review.

And when I'd get off the phone, I'd get off the show.

I'd call her back and I'd say, you know, I'd get off the show, I'd call her back and I say,

you know, I'd do a movie review every Friday at exactly this time.

She goes, oh, yeah, yeah, I forgot.

I forgot.

So anyway, she tells me how boring that was.

And so I'm like, well, take my word for it.

It was not boring.

And I said, honestly, some people might have got, they might have learned something and had a decent time listening to it.

So I'm walking off and she says, what are you going to do the next time?

And I took about two more steps and I stopped and I turned around and I went back
