It's always so interesting to look back on your life and go, I used to do that for a living.

And not only do I not do that job anymore, but like that company no longer exists or that job no longer exists.

It's kind of like that weird feeling you have of you're somebody that I used to know.

You're a job that I used to have.

And now you're just gone.

We always have an odd one in the crowd. So it's kind of odd.

I decidedly odd. Isn't that strike you as a little bit odd? No, it doesn't strike me as a little

bit odd. It's the Bob and Sherry Oddcast with stuff we wouldn't, couldn't or shouldn't do on

the regular show. Now, here's the oddcast.

Okay, so in this episode of the oddcast, guys, I was reading about these occupations that no longer exist. They've been replaced by technology in a lot of cases or by just the fact

that we no longer need or want this service. So one of these jobs was a pin setter in a bowling alley.

That used to be, I never really thought about it, but that used to be a human being that was back there.

Yeah, that had to be a long time ago. Yeah, a long time ago, back there behind the thing.

Let me, I'll tell you what what so this is what i said this

what i read those automatic pin setters have only been there since the 1950s before that

they would hire little boys listen usually rowdy street kids picked up from the roughest parts of

town working for the barest minimum of wages,

not known for their integrity or their work ethic.

They not only were these kids like little street hooligans, but some of these pinboys

would kind of make it known in the bowling alley that they would reset your pins a certain
