One of the grossest things back, one of the days that I was making pizza at this particular place, it's kind of a fancy place. So the pizzas were smaller, they were just appetizers. But where the pizza oven was, it was a wood fire done it. And for whatever reason, people in restaurants find that fascinating. It's like the Yule log, right? Yep. But our station is directly in front of it. So as much as they're looking at the fire, they're looking at you. And we had a little bit of a lip on the show,

so they couldn't directly see what was on your cutting board, but we had a little pizza doughs. And the place I worked had a subsidiary bakery across town. The bakery made it all of our dough. They delivered it to us. We'd make the pizzas. But you get in order for a pizza.

You may get us like an eight or ten inch pizza maybe. And there would always be air bubbles on it. And basically just take like the palm of your hand, smash it out, air bubble gone, no big deal. And I hit this air bubble and it kind of moves, but it doesn't go away. And that's not completely out of the question. but then I realized, okay, I'm chasing this thing around the inside of the dough.

So I discreetly opened it.

It was a used band-aid.

It had come off of someone's finger.

So I have to go around the corner to the chef.

And I go, hey, man, there was a band-aid in the pizza dough.

He's like, Jesus Christ.

It is what it is. I'm just letting you know. So his wife ran the bakery. He makes a call to her. It turns out basically the answer to the bakery finally became clear. That's what happened to the band-day that was under figure. Yeah, yeah. Well, I know a guy who operates pizza oven and he found a dead bird in there one morning. And he didn't want to mess with it. A dead bird? A dead bird. In's got no a pizza oven oh pizza up so it's got a flume on it you know uh so the bird's in there he's lying on its side so he just pushed the bird in the back with all

the woods so when he let the fire he just he didn't want to so it's like all no one's gonna know

no it's just he just incinerated.

Right.

And there,

then he built the fire,

started to make pizzas.

A guy I knew from high school. He went away to North Carolina for a while. Got fired from a job at Walmart. Don't ask me how he did that. So he ends up moving back because he doesn't have a job anymore. He needs a place to crash.

He's going to crash in my place.

I'm living with seven other people.
