Thank you. From the blackest corners of your mind, they call, pulling you deep into shadow, twisting your senses, keeping you from sleep.

It's time to face your darkest fears.

1:22.1

This is Tales to Terrify. Good evening, children of the night, and welcome.

1:26.9

Rather than a flashback this week, I thought we'd mix it up. So, I've got something a little different in store.

1:31.2

The Tail Wheel Here Tonight is an excerpt from a new novel by author Leslie Lutz, read by the author herself.

2:41.9

something that we both enjoyed. So, without further ado, listen with me to an excerpt and

2:49.9

interview from Leslie Lutz's Fractured Tide. I had done this kind of dive hundreds of times on dozens of wrecks.

3:26.9

But the descent felt strange this time, alien.

3:31.1

And I was the alien, slowly floating through the atmosphere of a new planet,

3:34.0

pulled by gravity to a place I didn't belong.

3:37.0

Brave New World, baby, I told myself.
