This is Tales to Terrify. Good evening, children of the night, and welcome to week one of our Bram Stoker Award finalist showcase.

Throughout the next few weeks, we'll be sharing with you the stories in the running for this year's Bram Stoker Award in the short fiction category.

This is your chance to experience some of the best short horror of this last year.

We'll have a few members of staff in attendance at Stoker Con this year again,

Now, to wet your appetite, we have one Stoker-nominated tale for you this evening, which comes to us

from Anna Taborska.

Anna Taborska writes horror stories and screenplays, with tales appearing in over 50 anthologies

and three single author collections. She has been nominated for a British Fantasy Award three

times, and a Bram Stoker Award seven times.

She co-edited the Stoker Award-winning anthology, Discontinue If Death Endues, Tales from the Tipping Point.

Anna has also directed five films and programmed the Rain Dance Film Festival in London, where she introduced a dedicated
