We have a pair of tales for you this evening.

First, a young woman faces the horrifying choice

of what to do when all hope is gone. Then, a mother fueled by grief curses the man who murdered

her son, with unexpected consequences. Our first story for the evening comes from Anne O'Mara Hayward.

Anne O'Mara Hayward is an award-winning horror writer in Cleveland, Ohio.

Her fiction has appeared in anthologies from Weird Harvest Press, Solar Press,

Halbound Books, Undertaker Books, Inked Publishing, thuggish itch, and aired on the No Sleep

Podcast. She is at work on a non-fiction book entitled The Thinking Woman's Guide to Horror

Movies and co-editing an anthology for Hellbound Books. Her first story collection will be published by Left Hand Path Publishing in 2026.
