Summary

733: In our final week of honoring the memory of Tony Manzoni (RIP) on Golf Smarter, we split an episode from late 2015 up into three parts. Last week on Mulligans #48 was part 1 of this conversation that lasted a couple episodes. In this conversation we get into the various clubs, what you can do to improve your success, and what you can expect from each club in your bag. And as usual, Tony has incredible stories about Ben Hogan, whom Tony studied at length. The conclusion of this episode can be heard on #49 of Golf Smarter Mulligans. Make sure to order hand inspected, sanitized, premium used golf balls from TwoGuysWithGolfBalls.com before April 1, 2020 using "golfsmarter" at checkout for 20% any order over $49. Next week to cope with being on lockdown during the pandemic, we’ll bring back Thomas Malchow to talk about how to keep your body in golf shape while being at home. For exclusive content and first access check out Corrected Mistakes on Substack: https://substack.com/@correctedmistake  Learn more about your ad choices. bag and still be able to play without any problem.

As most of the USA and actually so much of the world is now on lockdown due to the pandemic

1:08.9

that's only getting worse, I continue to ask myself,

1:13.2

is golf instruction really the kind of information we need right now?

1:18.0

And then I get into an email exchange with Daryl Rupp, a golf smarter listener,

1:22.6

who's serving in the U.S. military over in Belgium.

1:25.5

As for putting this show on hiatus, he says, I would say that

1:32.8

the more we have that can be normal during these times, the better. If you're able to keep the

1:38.4

podcast going, I know I would appreciate the taste of normality while listening. Okay, you got me. Here we are.
