Good evening everybody. I'm here at like Tailgate Part 2, I guess, here at Christ

the King Parish to Pika. And in the beautiful Rosary Garden named after Aubrey Williams, she passed

away a few years ago.

What a saint of a young woman in this Rosary Garden she envisioned to pray another

tailgate here in Topeka.

So let us begin by calling to mind

that we are ever in the presence of Almighty God

in whom we live and move and have our being.

We call upon him in the name of the Father

and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen. We're praying tonight for Jack Oxley. Jack works with me. We're praying for

his Father Tom who's dying and is being prepared by the Lord. I want to pray for a

parishioner here of Tom Shepard whose wife Kathleen literally passed away just

an hour before I got here and before we started this Rosary for her repose and for

Tom. I want to pray for the Clay and Canoele families and for all priests. And I've got some

special helpers here today, Caleb and Joel and Lexi, and Chance are going to help me pray.

Title this Rosary, Pentecost, the Feast of Responsibility.

In the book The Handmaid of the Lord, the Catholic mystic Adrian Bon Spire gives us a profound insight to Mary's role after Pentecost.

She says, for Mary, our mother, Pentecost is the starting point of a new mission that has now truly

become infinite. For her, it is a solemn feast, a feast of

of responsibility.
