This is the movement of the Holy Family.

So welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed to be on the road this evening with a great group of people

and my grandson is here this evening. So let's begin in the name of the

father and the son and the Holy Spirit. Let's call to mind all those who've promised to pray for,

especially for a little Olivia canily, for little Damien suffering also from cluster seizures, and for this young woman in Texas, Margot, that she will wake up from her

unresponsive state and for another young woman named Sophie,

23 years old who had a stroke, who's now in Nebraska and rehab.

And most especially, let's pray for all the dialysis and priests in the country.

Because as their numbers dwindle and our numbers grow, they're under greater and greater pressure.

And without them, we don't have Jesus in the eucharist.

So let's pray for all of our priests in the country.

Now today, before I wrote this Rosary meditation, as always, I spend an hour in meditation

in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacraments. And then today I had the sense

that we should meditate on fasting. And I asked Jesus and Mary, and then I opened the reading from today's mass, the first reading

from today's mass from Paul's letter to the Romans, and this was the first reading.

Now remember, the question I said,

Lord, do you want to talk,

want us to talk about fasting today?

And I open up their readings.

This was the first one.
