Following the Ravens locker clean out that always, always feels like it's too soon,

Garrett, after the Ravens lost the Steelers 26 to 24 in the regular season finale,

denying the Ravens a trip back to the playoffs.

Baltimore finished 8 and 9 this season.

Steelers go to playoffs.

Ravens do not come just short of winning a third straight AFC crown.

And Ravens players, you know, still kind of in a state of shock this morning, you know, after not much sleep,

getting back in the middle of the night last night.

And starting to sink in and process, but it's just still kind of unbelievable that they're

back in this moment.

Yeah, I think a lot of these guys just felt like, look, every year at Locker Cleanout, unless you win the Super Bowl or you're eliminated previously, it comes so suddenly because you're always thinking ahead.

And you're thinking about, okay, you could get this playoff game and could you go on a run?

And if you're in the playoffs, you're thinking about all those things. And so you're always kind of looking ahead. And so the suddenness of locker clean out is a jarring day because less than 12, like 12 hours

ago, you're in Pittsburgh playing for a shot at the AFC North. And now the next day, your season's

over. Everyone's got their stuff packed in bags. The shoes are in the donation bins and everyone's's heading back to their hometowns for the off season. And it's, like, silent. It's just so, the suddenness of it is always a tough thing to process. It's even more sudden for the Ravens. Well, yeah. Than most teams, and particularly this year, really, the past two years. Right, that's what I mean.

The past couple years for this team,

this locker cleanup day has been a really,

the last three years have been really tough days on this,

this kind of dark Monday after a disappointing loss.

Yeah, back-to-back seasons where it was really kind of one play
