Felger in Mass, 985, the Sports Hub. An hour number three, Felger and Maz, Patriots mini camp is over. Pretty significant one. Tons of new players. They flipped the page on the roster, spent a ton on it. We saw or read about or had accounts about most of them who were out on the

field. The quarterback thing was obvious. Now it's in the books. We reconvene. I think it's July

29th is the first full training camp practice and they'll be in pads shortly thereafter and

it'll all ramp up again. But we just passed a little marker post. And so thoughts, thoughts,

what are your breakaway thoughts from that mini camp mess? Well, look, overall, I mean, I, you know, I feel good about the direction of the team, and the more I think about it, you asked a question yesterday as it related to the linebacking core or brought up a point. You know, you said Van Nuoy, High Tower, and Judon. That is such a huge upgrade over where they were a year ago. Oh, my God. That I think they have the chance for their defense to be pretty good. Front seven should be much better. And there's going to be like a surprise cut here. And I brought up maybe that that could be Chase Winnevich, who didn't show up to camp. And it was reportedly no big deal. That was from Nesson.

But I'm sorry, like, there's now a log jam there. And if this kid in his mouth and his hair have kind of pissed off Belichick or Belichuk looks at him as a limited player because he's not good against the run, he could be out. But, yeah, the overall defense has a, you know, and look, Adwinovich, Jennings, Uchay, they got bodies is the point, particularly at those spots.

And so if their defense is really good, they don't need the quarterback to be great. So I just did this as a, just to compare and contrast. I just pulled up the game sheet from Week 16 Home Buffalo. Like that was a, that was a big one.

That was a big one for you. Actually, you were just barely in it, I think. It was a Monday night game. It's still a path. Put a lot into the game. The path was still alive to the point where Belichick was ripping Josh Allen to the TV broadcast crew to try and crawl in their heads and all of that. So it was a big game for you. here's your defensive front six they didn't't even roll out seven. They started nickel. And you can say it's because it's a passing league and a lot of teams start a nickel. I think it's because, well, when I read you the six guys up front who started for you, you'll say, well, good thing they didn't put out a seventh. Their D-line, Bauer, Cowart, Butler.

And again, I had to go back and say, who the hell?
