Laura say what's up to fire nation and share something that you believe about becoming successful that most people disagree with.

1:39.0

Hello fire nation so nice to be with you today. I believe that we don't have one true calling. I don't know if you're familiar with the concept of multi potentiality, but that is something that really resonates with me and I'm definitely someone who identifies as.

1:58.0

Having you know diverse interests and it took some time to kind of accept that and see that more as a strength to my success today so I think that yeah we don't have one true calling and that's totally okay and you.

2:14.0

You know build a strength out of all those different interests that you that you can curate.

2:20.0

Yes fire nation multi potentiality is a thing and I think you need to be very open to that and I think it's really interesting is we're going to be talking about the story behind tagger and walking you through.

2:31.0

You know how that even came to be and you can just see that like there are so many past to take in this world but at the end of the day it's are you adding value to people of course on this podcast entrepreneurs on fire.

2:42.0

Are you adding value to entrepreneurs and business men and business women as I mentioned the introduction we also have Allison who is on the mic will be hearing from her in a second which be really cool but Laura I do want to stay with you.

2:54.0

To start with the story behind tagger take it away.

2:58.0

Tagger is a direct response to some trends that we've been seeing in the retail sector.

3:14.0

We've been seeing a huge big box brick and mortar retailers for the last 25 years and we you know have observed over time some trends and some of them obviously are heightened with the pandemic situation at the moment.

3:29.0

So I think it's really trying to encompass that and bring a solution to small business owners where they can benefit from the same technology that you know larger brick and mortar retailers are looking into and using but bringing them to them in a way that is a lot more user friendly faster to set up and that answers to their specific needs.

3:53.0

So some of you know the trends that we've noticed and that you can probably identify with if you're running a retail business today is that customer and employee engagement are really becoming very centric to how you have to think about your business model and the key point there is really trying to deepen trust with your customers.

4:13.0

The second one and obviously this is something that's been going on for a while is embracing the digital world and really looking at ways to automate a lot of tasks that you have to perform in your small business every day.

4:25.0

And where you don't have a lot of added value so you can automate them to then free up some of your time and the last trend in which is really an important one is that contactless services here to stay you know it's definitely something that the pandemic has brought front and center to the stage but we definitely see it staying and so tagger is taking all of that and bringing a solution to you where you can spend less time updating your prices in your store.

4:54.0

And using digital tags that will update in real time with all of the product information that you need to create that trust with your customers to automate your processes and spend less time on changing price tags which is you know high labor costs and then finally providing that contactless service to your customers.

5:15.0

And that in fire nation I think as you can see when you can create not just a solution but the best solution to a real problem in this world you are going to win so Alison what would you like to add to Laura's breakdown.
