Whole bunch of us grew up in a world watching TV shows and movies that kind of hinted that

you would grow up and get a job and you'd work at that job for a long time and you'd climb

the ladder and then you'd retire with a little party and the proverbial

gold watch and a pension and that would be your working life. And then we turned into grownups

and arrived at our working life and discovered that that is as extinct as the dinosaurs and that

the only thing that's really going to be a constant in your career is all of the churn

and change that goes with working now.
