Everybody is standing, everybody standing, everybody standing this year because this is the year of the Bible.

We're going to begin the services with our scripture of the month that we're going to memorize as a church family.

There is a power that the word of God does when you memorize it, when you mutter it, when you utter it,

when you speak that word, when you meditate on it in your own heart and mind.

And that word, our book for the month is the book of James, and our memory verse is James

chapter 1 and verse 22.

In the King James Version, come on, let's speak this together come on but be

ye doers of the word and not hearers only deceiving your own selves amen amen amen amen, amen. Amen, amen.

Our scriptal text today comes from the book of Jeremiah in the Old Testament.

Chapter 33, verse 1 through 9.

Hear the Word of the Lord from the message version of the scriptures notice

while Jeremiah was still locked up in jail a second message from God was given to him

this is to let you know that whenever you get locked up or you feel that your life is on hold

God can still speak to you.

He still speaks even when you're on lockdown, even when you feel stuck, even when your

life feels like you're in a funk, God still speaks.

Verse 2, this is God's message.

The God who made earth made it livable and lasting, known everywhere as God.

Call to me, and I will answer you.

I'll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.

This is a promise.
