Why is my father convinced me

that it was the right thing for me to do? You know, my dad, he grew up in Los Angeles and San Pedro,

although he didn't speak English until he went to, went to school. He's from Yugoslav descent,

Croatian.

And so he was a commercial fisherman growing up,

and then didn't have the chance to go to college,

and he got into the technical business,

and he was a TV repairman.

So he had his own TV sales shop.

Back when we were kids, TV's had tubes in them,

and they were furniture. And people would come to the house.
