Hi, boom. Hello, New Girl. I'm excited about this episode because it is our Hot Docs podcast

festival episode. Yes, we did a live show in Toronto. It was great. It was more than great. Let's not do

ourselves down. It was in fact a masterpiece of live podcasting. I don't mean to brag. I'm just

telling the truth because when it was done, I was like, man, I wish I wasn't the audience to enjoy

that amazing show because I felt that in my shonder. Yeah. And we got such, it sounds a little

egotistical. What praise, you know, I mean, is it egotistical if it's the truth? I mean, it was

it was great. The next day we went into a brunch with all these other podcasters and the people who

were participating in the festival and they basically swarmed us to tell us how much they love this show.

I mean, at one point, I think I have to say please no pictures. Because we were doing, so I mean,

okay, so the thing is, we think that we're putting out slowly gold every week because you know,

we have healthy egos, obviously, but it does mean something when you are at a festival that is

for your industry and everybody's telling you just how much of a great show you put on the night

before. Like there is nothing like the praise of your peers. Exactly. Exactly. And it was just so

refreshing also and rejuvenating, you know, to our spirits just to have all these people tell us

that we did a great job. Right. So the point that ESPN's 30 for 30 who are also performing,

you know, doing a live show, they were like, we will see our spot so that y'all can do a second show.

Listen, I am going to find those two charming men and I'm going to give them a very small cookie

each because they really big to solve and they didn't have to. They did not have to. A whole 30 for

30. Exactly. So that's that was the level of joy that we had. And you know, shout out to our

producers who were tireless on the day and in the run up to it because they really put their whole

foot into this episode. And I am appreciative of the amazing people at Hot Dogs as well.
