Ladies and gentlemen,

as once again, I try to navigate the pole

that's offstage, but not calm myself

before I reach these colleagues.

The theater district, of course, is a measma of creativity

and we'd like to consider ourselves an island

of retro, big jokes in the middle of it.

So that we don't get to high-and-mighty playing at theatre here.

I have played some unspeakable shit holes in the last year

and specifically in the last month.

I don't know if I mentioned on the prupcast

from Edinburgh, Scotland, that the place I was doing

in improv show every night was called The Caves

and was a pestilent, plague-ridden hole full of hell.
