So we, Ollie and I, we struggled doing a, we didn't even struggle.

We didn't even get into it. We were going to do a lunch and learn. And you brought up the Bible. The Bible, that's right. And for some reason, something changed in the room. The energy just changed a little bit. And we were like, yeah. Yeah. I don't really, yeah. No, man, the energy does changed a little bit and we were like yeah we don't really yeah no man the energy does change yeah the energy changed so so this podcast never fails to

amaze me people reach out random things happen but you sent a lovely email to me saying

if you've got any questions i'm happy to answer them and I was like that's really nice

so it was good as well your email yeah it was good you didn't see the first the first one was a little

bit short wasn't it was like if you got any questions ping him over and we'll can talk about it

so I was like cool the intention wasn't to be kind of interviewed it was was sort of... But I'm here now.

Yeah, yeah. So, yeah, I sent again an email back, and then you sent a really nice long email. And I was like, sent it to Ollie. And then Ollie said, we should just get him on as a guest. And I was like, of course we should just get him on as a guest. That makes total sense. So here we are, with an actual reverend to talk about, I think, faith, religion. We don't even know what we're talking about. But also you're a mountain biker, which is the reason as well for it. We're going to also talk about biking a little bit to ask my son from a mountain b but yeah, I try to keep up with my kids.

Why did, why did the energy leave the room when we, why did we fail so miserably talking about the Bible?

I know why I think we did.

Why did it?

I think we're talking about things that are deep, and it's a little bit like, I think there's something to be be said for it's the same with men's mental health people clam up when they talk about mental health and when you're talking about something deep that can matter that's core to you we can sometimes get defensive over a thing and I think the questions that we're asking are hugely important but a lot of people don't want to talk about them, because I think often they think that, oh, it causes division, it causes, you know, disagreement. Yeah. We don't want that tension in the room, so we don't talk about it. I think also there's a worry that you're going to offend people, and that certainly, I think, in the day and age that we're living now, we walk this fine line all the time about not bringing certain subjects up because we don't want to offend someone. And especially I think with this, it feels like sometimes a lot of people watch and listen. And you just, it almost puts even more of an emphasis on the fact of you don't want to offend people and you just walk in this line all the time. But I think the beauty about doing this now is we can just have an open and honest conversation,

ask a few questions and just be a bit more, I don't really know what the word is, a bit more just like open to the ideas.
