Hey there, Nate. Good to see you.

Sorry, we're recording a little late.

You know, I was camping at Yellowstone, which was, or sorry, Yosemite, I get those confused all the time,

but I got to say that was a good decision, great, great time camping.

Yeah, first world problems to get those too confused and a lot cooler than whatever I was

doing over the weekend. But we've made it to, this is episode 10 when we recorded our

first episode during pitch con back in

January uh Nick Pollock said to us you know you got to make it to 10 in order for it to be a real

podcast and barring disaster in the next you know 50-ish minutes as we record here I'd like to say

that we've made it and we're lasting into into the season.

But as we've darted around kind of talking about a variety of stats so far, one of the things

I think we've talked, I would say too much about is hitting. We've talked a lot of hitting and a lot

of the process on that. But a lot of that discussion has been, you know, what comes after a hitter has made a

decision. You know, either they're swinging or, you know, taking a pitch. And while we've talked

about this a little bit previously with Process Plus, a lot of those are decision-based and,

you know, almost, you know, process-based stats after the fact.

So today we wanted to really dive deep into discipline

and the decision-making of a hitter,

which I think is kind of a lot more valuable
