What is up, Pitualist family? Welcome back to another episode of Hacks and Jacks. I'm your host, Brad Ford, here with senior analyst Scott Chu. We're talking hitters on pitcher list. Scott,

0:22.2

we see that you are, for those of us watching on YouTube, we see that you are not in your usual

0:27.2

setting. You're on the road. Yeah, I'm at Even Hotel in Pittsburgh for other real-life job stuff,

0:36.0

but I was able to swipe a little headset here.

0:39.3

And we're going.

0:40.9

We're moving and grooving.

0:42.5

Beautiful, man.

0:43.3

Well, we appreciate you taking the time while you're on the road while things are, you know,

0:47.4

in flux or, you know, with real world stuff.

0:49.9

So we appreciate you and looking forward to hearing all the notes and rises and fallers from this week's top 150 hitters list, as always.

1:00.1

But we're going to start with some injury news.

1:02.5

We'll jump right into it.

1:04.3

A handful of guys hit the IL this week, all four of them kind of at that replacement level threshold.

1:12.7

Francisco Alvarez, New York Mets catcher, athletics infielder Jacob Wilson, Toronto Blue Jays,

1:19.3

infielder, Addison Barger, and Detroit Tigers outfielder, Kerry Carpenter, all four headed

1:24.3

to the IL this week.

1:26.4

Any of those more significant than just a replacement level or thereabouts?

1:31.7

1:37.6

1:42.3

especially if you've got a strikeout penalty.

2:35.8

Jacob Wilson is guy, you should probably prioritize. He might be special enough that, like, he becomes a must hold in all leagues, but I know a lot of you are in 10 and 12 team leagues with like two or three outfield spots. And a lot of them are probably full, especially with all the pitching arms that you've got to keep on there. You know, you've got Scoobel or you've got, you know, freed who's about to go out there, you know, bigger names. So Jacob Wilson in a points league is one I'd want to be holding on to. But Francisco Alvarez had already moved to the bottom of the batting order for the Mets. He's been hitting for average and nothing else lately. I'd go back to the well and look for some catchers. Same for, you know, Addison Barger. I already didn't think you had to keep him on your IL, especially if it was limited. You know, when he was gone the first time, he only came back for a few days. Now he's gone again. I just, is there maybe a good player in there? Sure. But we've seen so little of it. We saw it. We saw it for like a few months in the season, like two months in the season. We saw it in the

playoffs. And other than that, for the last like 50 to 60 regular season games we've seen, he's just
