Hi guys, stay. I've got a special guest on the podcast. His name is TW Shannon. So he is

running to represent the state of Oklahoma as one of its two United States senators. So he was

one of the top two vote getters in the June 29th Republican primary here in the state of Oklahoma.

He got 17.5% of the vote. He will be part of a runoff election, which will be held on August

the 23rd. So just here in a few weeks to determine who will represent the Republican party in the

general election on November the 8th of this year. So in order to help Oklahoma Republicans with

their decision on August 23rd. And so that people outside of Oklahoma can hear from a politician

that will very likely become a member of the US Senate. I interview or I'm interviewing both of

these guys. So I'm interviewing TW Shannon and his runoff mate Mark Wayne Mullin. And I'm releasing

these on the same day. So guys, you're going to see these interviews back to back because you know,

I'm interviewing both of these gentlemen because I want you to be able to understand who you're

going to potentially be voting for. But also again, like I said, for people that are outside of the

state, who are these people that are going to be on the US Senate? How are they going to discuss

things? And in guys, to be honest, I did my best to conduct the interviews in a way that allows

for you to easily compare and contrast their answers on a load of important topics. Now there were

certain topics and certain follow-up questions that I asked them that were a little bit different.

It's just kind of the way that it worked out. But hopefully it's apparent to you when you listen

to this that I tried to be as down the line as possible while also challenging them on certain topics

and things like that. But TW, he currently serves as the president and CEO of Chickasaw Community

Bank and is a state highway commissioner for Central Oklahoma. In 2006, he was elected to the Oklahoma

House of Representatives and in 2013, he became the youngest and first black person to be the speaker
