Hi guys, today we got a special guest on the podcast.

His name is Mark Wayne Mullin, so he is running to represent the state of Oklahoma as

one of its two US senators.

He was one of the top two vote getters in the June 29th Republican primary here in the

state of Oklahoma.

He got 43.6% of the vote and he will be part of a runoff election, which will be held

on August the 23rd to determine who will represent the Republican Party in the general

election on November the 8th of this year.

So in order to help Oklahoma Republicans with their decision on August the 23rd and so

that people outside of the state of Oklahoma can hear from a politician that will very, very

likely become a member of the US Senate.

I interviewed both of these guys, so I interviewed Mark Wayne Mullin and his opponent T W Shannon

on the same, I tried to get it on the same day, but we got it around the same time period

and I'm releasing the interviews with them on the same day at the same time.

What I tried to do and what you'll probably see if you listen to both of them is I did

my best to conduct the interviews in a way that allows for all of you to easily compare

contrast their answers on a load of important topics.

So a lot of the questions were the exact same.

There are some interesting different bits of follow up.
