You had some pretty pointed comments after that game, or just right after it.

Now you had a week to think about it, what are your thoughts on the Governor's Cup and playing

Ole Miss in a non-conference game in a midweek situation?

Well, I mean, I'll tell you, Brian, I was glad we played the game because I thought

our guys played really well, and obviously tell you, Brian, I was glad we played the game because I thought our guys played really well.

And obviously, it was a great crowd down there and, you know, proud that we brought the Governor's Cup back to Starkville for President Keenham and Zach Selman.

But, you know, it's interesting.

You know, I knew that the game was always played.

Obviously, playing attention to college baseball across the country over the years,

knew that this game was played.

But, you know, it's just, it's the only matchup in the country where two SEC teams

play each other in the middle of the week. And that makes it unique and exciting, but obviously,

you know, a lot goes into it. So, you know, it is what it is, but certainly not ideal, right, for both Ole Miss and Mississippi State, but understand it and how great it is for our fan base, Old Misses fan base, to play a game down in Jacksonville.
