I just want us to begin tonight with Isaiah 55.

We're in this series called Take the Plunge, and that's a theme of scripture, you know,

the whole idea of a river or a well is very scriptural and always connected to the activity

of God.

And we see that in the Old Testament in this invitation of Isaiah 55, and that's going

to be our launching point tonight for this talk in the Take the Plunge series.

Tonight's message is called sweet surrender, and that's where we're all headed tonight.

That's the goal for me and the goal for you.

So let's just read this together.

The words of God through the prophet Isaiah, you read along in your scripture, translation,

whatever you've got.

The words will be in the screen.

I'll read it, but we won't read it out loud.

It says, come all you who are thirsty, come to the waters, and you who have no money,

come by and eat, come by wine and milk without money and without cost.

Why spend money on what is not bread and your labor on what does not satisfy?

Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest

affair.

Give ear and come to me, hear me that your soul may live.
