because our day is almost done.

Michigan with a 9572 win over number nine seed St. Louis.

Wolverines marching to the Sweet 16 for the seventh

straight tournament appearance. They've been in, I think, what, nine of the last 12, Sweet 16s.

Michigan lives in the second weekend. This is one of the most elite tournament programs in the

country under John B-line, first two years under Juan Howard,

and then Dusty May, who had already gone to a final four in two tournaments at FAU,

one of the worst jobs in the country when he took it in 2018, comes to Michigan, makes the second

weekend two times in a row. But Anthony, as he said afterwards when we got to talk to him

in the hallway, this one feels a little bit different because this team expected to be here. It said maybe it feels a little bit different for his players. For him, he feels the same. He's in the moment. But for his players, the expectations were not, you know, just to win the Big Ten regular season, make it this Sunday in the Big Ten tournament. It was to win the whole thing, the whole

shabang. And you can't do that without going through the Buffalo Invitational, as they've been

calling it. And, hey, two up, two down, four to go. Yeah, we've talked about this when we were

previewing the Big Ten tournament where these steps that they make this time around are not

milestones. They are just moments on this sort of

mission that they're finding themselves on. And, you know, by and large in these two games,

just an offensive clinic in both of them, defensive lapses, sometimes in both of them. But,

you know, these are 40-minute basketball games against teams that earn their way here, like you said

before. And certainly St. Louis earned its way into the round of 32 and you know all the talk
