Summary

Today's Quote:  "This Love is not a human love. It's not limited love. It's not changing love. But a Love so strong that it can overcome the sense of anything unlike God.  A fierce Love, a Love that refuses to be submerged in the confusion of this world. A Love perhaps born of strife, of pain.  An ecstasy born of agony.  But It's so strong that an individual can say, 'I am that Spirit of God and no other.  No one can convince me of sin. Nothing can move me out of this knowledge that I Am That I Am.'   That Love pulsing through you will give you the strength." -Herb Fitch from his Mount Hood Talks

Today's Practice: Rock negative thoughts away. When you're swaying in Love, the negative thoughts are seen to be unreal, even when they seem to be playing. Rock and know that only Love is (t)here.  Today, whenever you get a chance, rock back and forth (left to right, right to left) and become aware of what you feel in your body.  Love. Peace. Feel this Love. Be Love.

So I was meditating last night as always as I do every night and

0:29.0

for me meditation is becoming aware of this presence of love, being aware of love, and then just kind of

0:37.5

marinating in that, giving that my attention. And what I notice is I don't have to struggle with

0:44.4

thoughts. And even when they come, if I stay in the love that love dissolves that thoughts, if you

0:52.3

know that love is the only reality, there's nothing to think about because everything that you think

0:57.2

about are objects, are material things, are people, places, you know, stuff. But when you go back to

1:04.8

the love, there's just this undivided boundless love. So I stay in the love and let the thoughts come

1:13.7

and go in that. And it's a really, really solid place to be. And what I notice is that when the love

1:20.4

is very pronounced like when it's truly announcing itself where I am, I sway a little, I rock a little

1:29.1

bit, you know, back and forth. And I notice even when I'm speaking to you every morning,

1:36.1

and that love is very pronounced like it is right now, my body has like this natural sway. And so

1:41.6

when I was swaying last night, I became very aware of it and thought about sharing with you today.

1:47.7

And I also thought about like if you were raising a black church, you know, seeing like the old

1:52.8

ladies and their hats and them kind of rocking back and forth, even when the music, you know,

1:58.0

was not happening, that's just kind of like swaying in the spirit. It's almost like something that

2:05.6

the spirit does to the body, which is why I think I enjoy music so much because it puts me in touch

2:11.8

with that place inside that is love and reminds me of it. And it made me think of a quote by Tick

2:18.0

Not Han where he says, sometimes your joy is the source of your smile, but sometimes your smile

2:26.4

can be the source of your joy. And so obviously you should smile, right, practice smiling,

2:32.7

but maybe we should also practice swaying in spirit. And I honestly cannot remember where I read

2:43.6

something like this. And I tried, I really tried this morning, really hard and I searched it up on

2:48.2

the on the internet. That's what my daughter says, like, can you search it up for me on Google?
