Hello, everyone and welcome to police off the cuff, real crime stories.

I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

Well, this morning, we watched the arraignment.

Well, actually, there was no cameras in the courtroom, but we heard and we watched the

defendants be corralled into the courtroom one by one.

First court appearance, of course, the suspects in the killing of two Kansas moms were denied bond.

The more we find out about this case, the more despicable it gets.

And you wonder if you guys are listening have never been in a courtroom sitting right next to or a few feet

away from a murderer. There's a tenseness in the air, an emotion in the air. Whether you're a police

officer, a court officer, a civilian, or the attorney.

Do you feel the tenseness in the air?

And apparently this was a very small courtroom.

And it was filled with members of the victim's families.

Can you just imagine this?

Two vibrant moms, their lives snuffed out by these these criminals,

really. And again, you know, people will say, oh, they're innocent to proven guilty, yes.

But you know, so far what we know, there is a tremendous amount of evidence.

I want to just quickly show you how the defendants walked into court

or this morning one by one by the court officers and they're in their zebra suits,

as they should be.
