Summary

Kansas Moms probable cause affidavit Veronica Butler, and Jilian Kelly AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Court documents show the details of the investigation that led to the arrest of four suspects in the murders of Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelley. The affidavits of probable cause for the arrest warrants were released on 4/15/24. On Saturday, March 30, the Texas County Sheriff’s Office requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation services with the suspicious disappearance of Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelley. Court documents say it was discovered that Butler was in a problematic custody battle with Tifany Adams for the custody of Butler’s two children. The father of those children was Wrangler Rickman, Adams’ son. Butler’s visitation with her children was court ordered to be supervised every Saturday. It was arranged for Kelley to supervise the visit. Butler told family members she was going to pick up her children from Adams at Four Corners in Texas County. Butler and Kelley left Hugoton, KS and traveled to Highway 95 and Road L. Documents reveal Butler planned to bring her daughter to a birthday party but after they did not arrive, the family began looking for Butler. Family members located the abandoned vehicle just west of the intersection. The family members then contacted law enforcement. An examination of the vehicle and area surrounding the vehicle found evidence of a severe injury. Documents state blood was found on the roadway and edge of the roadway. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/otcpod1/support

Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelly.

0:43.3

I think we fully expected that, but now it's official and that, of course, came from the Oklahoma

Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. So they have been positively identified.

0:57.4

And as I said, we fully expected this when they found these bodies.

1:02.5

They found the bodies based on human information that they got and other and scientific information.

1:09.1

And we're going to go into that because this investigation

1:13.3

was unbelievable. I think, you know, from a police perspective, I'm looking back at it, I'm observing

1:20.0

it. And Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the FBI, the Kansas Highway Patrol, the Texas Highway Patrol, the local police agency, they did an unbelievable job.

1:32.5

But yet, so many shithers out there, most of them from the press, some of them from YouTube, want to criticize the police.

1:40.7

Because what, it didn't happen in two hours.

1:43.2

Those are the people that don't understand investigation. Those are the people that don't understand

1:45.1

investigation. Those are the people that really need to sit back and look, listen, and learn

1:50.3

because it pisses me off. And a lot of these YouTubers are just as bad. You know, first of all,

1:56.2

a content creator does not belong out in the field doing the work that the police do. If I was,

2:02.9

if I ran into people like that when I was on the NYPD, I would have kicked them the ass and

2:06.3

sent them on their way because they're interfering with the investigation. And even if they find

2:11.1

something out, are they doing it for clicks on YouTube? Or the police don't want their help,

2:15.4

but everyone wants to criticize the police,
