I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute. Officials are laying out a timeline of the

1991 murders of four teenage girls in Austin, Texas, after identifying a suspect last week,

describing him as a potential serial killer linked to cases around the country. On Friday,

police named Robert Eugene Brasher's as a suspect in the quadruple murder known as the Yogurt Shop murders.

On December 6, 1991, teenagers Amy Ayers,

Eliza Thomas, and sisters Jennifer and Sarah Harbison were found naked, bound, gagged, and shot

at a yogurt store where two of them worked. The building was then set on fire. Recently, shell casings

and DNA evidence were re-evaluated and a match was found out of a South Carolina lab connected to a

1990 sexual assaulted murder tied to Brasher's. The same DNA profile linked Brasher's to a 1998 shooting of a murder in Missouri and the 1997 rape of a 14-year-old in Tennessee. The DNA also matched DNA on the yogurt shop girls' sexual assault kits. Brasher has died by suicide in 1999, shooting himself during a standoff with police.
