Around that time, Central Avenue, also known as Route 66, was a haven for sex work, drugs, as well as other criminal

For those of you that are not familiar, Central Avenue runs the entire east-west length of

It is one of the busiest roads in the city, and it is the original Route 66

that went from Chicago to L.A. I was inspired as I researched the story of the Toy Box Killer.

Just the idea of her fighting back and getting away from New Mexico's most notorious serial rapists, I just couldn't comprehend how

somebody musters that much strength and resolve that no matter what, she was determined to get away.
