Hey everybody. Thanks for coming back to the Zach Jackson and Friends podcast. I'm Zach Jackson. It is Wednesday, August 28, as we get further away from training camp and closer to regular season mode, I'm more likely to know what day it is. Sometimes that matter. Sometimes it doesn't. Anyway, thank you guys for coming back. We're closing in on the season this weekend full on college football.

As I record this, the Browns are about two hours from practice. They have a 53-man roster.

Is it done? I don't know. I know it's probably certainly isn't because there's four quarterbacks and two running backs on it.

But they've made their moves. We will see, you know, how they handle

that quarterback situation. Maybe some mild surprises. They didn't claim anybody. They didn't

lose anybody via claim. They've put most of their practice squad back together with players who they

had in camp, which is pretty much how it goes.

I think there's always a window open for some surprises because teams explore moves.

And across the league, there's a surprise move or two, even if the Browns really, you know,

themselves are an established team and didn't count on anything wild with their injuries.

I think they at least had to explore their options.

I think as we record, they are exploring options in their running back room.

You know, with the quarterbacks and the four of them, probably,

and maybe by the time we're done with this,

that there'll be a move made.

You know, I think from, I know there's been a whole bunch of talk about it. I think from my most trusted sources in my reporting, I think they talked about all three quarterbacks in

potential trades at some point. I feel pretty confident in saying that. I also don't think

that that's headline breaking news. I think that's part of doing business. Is it interesting that

they would have discussed, James? Is it interesting that they would have

discussed, James? Is it interesting that they did discuss DTR and at least one conversation they

were the initiators there? Sure, but that's part of doing business. You see what prices are.
