it. And we're just revving up here. So today is the end of the preseason. It is Sunday morning

and about 10 hours or so ago, the Browns mercifully ended a preseason

in which they didn't try to win, and that's fine because that doesn't matter.

But they got home this morning around 8 a.m. back to Cleveland.

And by Tuesday at 4 p.m., they have to have the roster at 53.

So a lot of that is easy.

Some of it is never easy from a human or decision making standpoint. And a lot of it is probably made more complicated by the injury

situations because you can only keep 53 initially exposing other guys. And so even if you

think, and we do think that Jed Wellsills and Jack Conklin are coming back

sooner than later, we do think that Dalvin Tomlinson has a chance to play in the opener.

When you don't know if those guys are ready to go 100%, or their full reps of snaps, or if at all,

you know, two weeks from today, then then you'd like to have contingency plans and we'll see.

Today's guest is not a contingency plan because he and I do this every year in some format.

His name is Scott Petriac.

He's covered the Browns for a long, long time for the Illyric Chronicle Telegram.

He's a Brown zone.

He's a hat golfer and an old man softball legend. And he knows a little bit about ball. So, Scott, we do this every year and I'm glad we're doing it again. That golfer, Zach? I like you think of myself as better than that. You could make a two on any hole. You could also make a seven on any hole. I qualifies as a hack to me. Fair enough. We made it through camp, Scott. So today is the 25th, right? So July 25th was the first practice at the Greenbrier. Man, it goes fast. You know, I don't want to do back in my day, it was different. But five weeks from the report date for the Browns to roster cuts. So it really does go fast. And this was a

strange camp because of the injuries. It was the least competitive camp I've ever seen. I get that.

You know, I do have some questions about where some guys are, but here we are. And as far as guessing

the roster, it's never been harder.
