This week, I've put together a selection of clips from interviews with people who have had a near-death experience.

In this episode, I thought it would be interesting to see just how different these experiences can be.

First, we hear from Nancy Rines.

This is from an interview recorded in 2020.

Nancy was riding her bicycle when a large SUV plowed right into her.

Her second, more lengthy near-death experience came days later

during the surgery that attempted to repair her traumatized spine.

So the landscape changed, but the first part of the landscape, I have to say, because, you know,

because you're in Great Britain, I love to tell people that the landscape looked a lot like

Scotland, and I've never been to Scotland.

But it looked like pictures that I've seen of the highlands and it was really cool.

It was a beautiful, I first came into awareness in this beautiful meadow on a hillside overlooking some rolling mountains with fog,

and it was just incredibly beautiful, like so many pictures I've seen of the highlands.

And eventually, you know, we moved through different parts of the landscape.

So we walked a lot of times we walked through

forests, but the forests had different kinds of energy. So if I, for example, when I would look at

trees, I would see a tree shape and I would see all this beautiful light energy coming through the leaves.

But it wasn't just light.

It was energy.
