Magazine to take a deep dive, not into the psychology of these perpetrators, but into the

incredible courage and resourcefulness of the women who survived.

When I think about the 1970s into the 1980s, I mean, even the FBI acknowledges, that was like the peak heyday of the American serial killer.

And in some ways, it was their time to shine because we didn't really have DNA the way

that we have now.

We didn't have the same level of forensic science that we have now.

So when I think about a perpetrator like Bruce Lindle, I mean, it was really after his death that many of the people who had

brushed up against him realized that they had brushed up against a serial killer.

So let's talk about Bruce Lindell.

This happened in the Chicago area.

And during the time period that he was

active, I think more than 70 women and girls were murdered. Now, not all of those have been

able to be attributed to Bruce Lindel, but he certainly was incredibly prolific and not the household name that some of these

perpetrators are. You know, most people will be able to name like Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy.

Very few people will go, oh yeah, and Bruce Lindle in Chicago. And People Magazine Investigates
