is Tyler thank you for joining me tonight as I read surrender to win tonight

we will be hearing about surrendering to the loving care and powerful control of the

lord the god of angel armies we will be hearing about how surrendering is not losing but in fact

it is winning our scripture is from the old testament in exodus fourteen fourteen when moses was

leading the children of israel out of captivity in egypt we will see how god's heart is for us to rest

while he fights the battle. He is not weak.

As we read in Isaiah 59,

surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save,

nor his ear too dull to hear.

Or as the new living translation puts it,

listen, the Lord's arm is not too weak to save you nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call he does not need our meager weapons

Exodus 15 verse 3 tells us the Lord is a man of war the Lord is his name as we journey tonight and lean into

these powerful scriptures we will experience the reality of resting in the mighty hand of the

Lord God of angel armies he fights for you precious listener you can be

still and know that he is God he is the Lord Almighty and he is on your side he be

beckons you to come daily to his side he beckons you to dwell with him and abide with
