I actually don't think it's a terrible move.

Well, the Jets made some news yesterday.

Alan Lazzard, a player that most of us assumed would be cut,

is staying with the team in 2025.

Lazzard and the Jets have worked out a restructured contract, which sees the wide receiver

taking a big pay cut. You know, the Jets kept talking about how they were trying to redo Lazzard's

deal. I did not quite believe that they'd be able to work out a new deal that made sense for

them. There's a lot to dive into when we talk about what this means for the New York Jets.

And I have to say, I'm as shocked as anybody because I would have, if you had told me at the

start of the off season that Alan Luzard was staying with the Jets, I probably would have told

you I hate the move.

And I'm never going to say keeping Alan Luzard is a good move,

but I think that this is a justifiable move. And it's a move that I understand. And again,

like, if you told me in January, Jets are keeping Alan Lazzard and John, you're going to understand

why, I'm not sure I would have believed you, but a lot of it comes down to the terms of
