Wednesday morning, how's the fuck guys took the field for their first practice of the 2021 fall season, practice 16 overall.

Because Ryan Day says the first 15 were in spring and this is just a continuation of that.

I was not there, but Nathan and Steven were we're going to break down what they saw and then what Ryan Day talked about on both sides of the ball.

Most of this is sort of depth chart confirmations where guys lining up and a couple things about how guys look ripped.

So let's start on the defensive side of the ball first and let's talk about the secondary first.

Nathan, this is again a great opportunity. Our textures got this stuff from you already.

Nathan, what's the guess from what you guys saw on what you think the starting secondary looks like for the moment?

My guess is the same as it would have been if you had asked me before we got there today, which is seven banks and cam Brown on the outside, Josh Proctor over the top and Marcus Williamson as the slot corner.

But I think they're in all those cases except for probably banks and Proctor those other two cases 24 more practices for some of these young guys to force that issue.

What did, what was Nathan Ransom's involvement?

Was he in the same spot that Marcus Williamson was or was he like in a different grouping or how are we viewing that?

Cover safety slot corner spot in terms of the other guys there.

Stephen was actually our defensive scout today, so we can answer that better.

He was in the same spot.

To the point Nathan is making, I think it's day one of fall camp after not necessarily having your entire secondary together.

So they just put the veterans out there, but Nathan Ransom was still in that cover safety slot corner, whichever one you want to call it spot while Ryan Watts was kind of rotating with cam Brown and seven banks as well.
