That's right. Not by COVID, not by the new variant of COVID, which is otherwise known as

Omicrom, but we're stopping Boris Johnson with being overwhelmed by Sage. And they're dooms to

team of advisors. Don't let it happen, ladies and gentlemen, there is a way to stop it. You can take

precautions. And that's what I'm going to suggest that Boris Johnson does.

I'm going to say to Boris Johnson right now, right here, if you want to stop any kind of encroachment, encouraging people to stop you doing anything that you want to do at Christmas, then here's what you've got to do.

You're going to lock yourself away in your room. You're going to self-isolate, you've got to stay away from anybody, you've got to avoid any unnecessary contact, and what you've also got to do is avoid any

kind of socialising whatsoever. So absolutely no cheese, absolutely no wine, absolutely no

fratting with the misses, absolutely no feeding the baby, absolutely no contact whatsoever

with man, beast, dog, woman, sage advisor, male or female, communist or

conservative, no matter what, don't see anyone, don't look at the cabinet, don't catch anybody's

eye, just stay hunkered down in the Boris bunker and all will be well. We'll see you on the other

side and meanwhile, everybody can get on with their lives. Does that suit you?

As we packed down the last few shopping days before the weekend,

it seems that there are still some die-hard lockdown fanatics

who are still urging the Prime Minister to stop anyone doing anything whatsoever.

Yesterday, the Cabinet refused to introduce any more restrictions before Christmas Eve,

but the hospitality business is still looking, ladies and gentlemen, at a £1.5 billion hangover in January, and that can't be right.

Already we're seeing a lot of businesses going to the wall because all of their Christmas parties got cancelled.
