In 1992, there's one movie that Quentin Tarantino said he would send to outer space,

0:07.9

and it is Supercom.

0:30.8

Hello everyone and welcome to unspooled.

We are talking about police story 3, otherwise known as Supercom, but before we get into that,

1:00.6

I feel like people trusted us for the first time to try something that they probably had not heard of,

1:09.2

and I think the reaction was incredibly fulfilling.

1:14.4

I feel so happy. I get nervous when we're like, okay, there's a brand new movie that maybe you

1:20.1

haven't seen it, maybe you don't have three hours to kill, but I think you might really, really like it.

hey, I got a recommendation for you. Don't look up anything, just watch it, and if you're not into

1:46.8

it by the first 25 minutes, then check out. But I guarantee you, you'll be in by the first 25.

1:52.4

And one of my friends wrote me after he saw the scene where the tigers are popping out of the truck.

1:57.8

And he goes, I thought this is the climax. I press pause and there's an hour and a half left.

2:02.5

And I was like, oh, yeah, there's so much more movie. And high drama is left. Now we go into

2:08.2

like incredibly dramatic section of the film right after the big attack on the palace.

2:13.3

But I also love really the heated debate and the passion that we're getting from fans of

2:22.8

Indian cinema. Like, you know, there have been so many great people reaching out and recommending

2:27.7

different films. And it's really exciting to check out all these, you know, hyperbod films

2:33.6

and also some other films that I did not even know about. Paul, have I preached you the good word

2:39.2

of a movie called Jolly Kato that came out a couple years ago? It's very, very different than this
