This is StoryQuest. Today's story is, Super Frogs Save the World from Giant Flies.

The first sign of trouble was the buzzing. Not the normal, lazy, buzz of a fly trapped against a window.

This buzzing was deep and loud, like a swarm of tiny engines revving all at once. It rolled across lily pad city in dark waves, rattling leaves and making the pond water tremble.

Freddy Flickr felt it through his webbed feet.

Uh-oh, he muttered.

Freddy was no ordinary frog.

By day he was just another green blur hopping between reeds,

but when danger buzzed or burned or boomed, Freddy became Captain Croke, leader

of the superhero frogs. He snapped his goggles down over his wide eyes and leapt onto the highest

cat-tail. From there, he could see the sky, and the sky was moving.

A black cloud poured over the sun, blotting it out.

Wings shimmered, legs dangled like hooks, red eyes glowed.

Giant flies, Freddy croaked.

Thousands of them.

A shadow swooped low, snapping a mailbox clean in half.

The invasion had begun.

Freddy tapped his wrist communicator actually a shiny

beetle shell and croaked loudly.

With a splash, bolt the blue frog burst from the pond, electricity cracking between his legs.
