Summary
Marcas Grant and Michael F. Florio are back for a special new edition of the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast with the offseason officially upon us. To start, Marcas and Michael recap their top fantasy takeaways from Super Bowl LVI, looking ahead to next season’s outlook for Cooper Kupp, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, Joe Burrow, and Odell Beckham Jr. Then, we hear from Patriots fullback Jakob Johnson, originally from Germany, about the NFL’s upcoming expansion into his home country. After that, the experts cover some of the biggest questions answered during the 2021 NFL Playoffs - which players helped or hurt their fantasy draft value the most and how much stock we should put into playoff performances. Finally, we wrap up the show with our Jerry Jeudy interview conducted last week on Radio Row.Â

| 0:36.2 | that started kind of last Friday and has improved progressively, but we're still trying to get better about it. But it is officially the off season. Florio, welcome to the off season. I should use air quotes because, you know, for fantasy, there's no real such thing as the off season. It's just the season where they don't play games. So I guess welcome to that. |
| 1:12.0 | Yeah. It's a, I mean, if you look on fantasy Twitter, it's definitely not an off season. And you're not alone with the scratchy throat, Marcus. I have had it as well a little bit. I thought it was because of all the festivities. And, you know, I drank a little bit more than I normally do on Super Bowl weekend. So I've been blaming that, but it's also been pretty cold |
| 1:14.2 | so we could blame it. and, you know, I drank a little bit more than I normally do on Super Bowl weekend. |
| 1:11.3 | So I've been blaming that, but it's also been pretty cold, so we could blame that. It is. Well, it's been weird because it went from really hot to like, I guess I'd say really cold, like really cold for L.A., right? Like, it's been like, you know, low 60s. I know there are people in other parts of the country who are probably flipping us off right now. But it snowed apparently. |
| 1:28.8 | It's snowed apparently. |
| 1:28.8 | It's snowed in Pasadena, which is insane. |
| 1:31.7 | That is that is bonkers. |
| 1:34.4 | But yeah, it went from, you know, it was like 85, 86 degrees on Super Bowl Sunday to the fact that it's snowed in Pasadena on Tuesday. |
| 1:43.2 | That is just bizarre. So, yeah, I think all this weird weather, |
| 1:47.6 | these extreme temperatures, temperature swings might have something to do with it as well. |
| 1:54.1 | Got a good show for you, as we always try to do. Obviously, we'll talk some Super Bowl and kind |
| 1:59.3 | of recap that and try to spin it |
| 2:00.9 | forward with a fantasy perspective. Also got a couple of interviews for you. We'll spread them out over |
| 2:04.9 | the next couple of weeks, but we had a chance to talk to some people on Radio Row. You did have a chance |
