Sun's news that just broke about Igor Kukashkov being fired. We finished our recording on

Monday right before the news broke, so I'm just going to go over this quickly because it's really

important. Woj reported Phoenix has fired

coach Igor Kukashkov, league sources tell ESPN. Sunset planned to bring Kukashkov back for a

second season, especially after the team's stronger play in late stages of the season. Kukashkov has

been a well-respected tactician who becomes another victim of the constant turnover in Phoenix.

Here's a factor in the timing of Kukashkov's dismissal.

The Sons are planning to target Philadelphia 76ers assistant Monty Williams League, sources tell ESPN.

Lakers are planning a second interview with Williams soon, sources said.

This is the son's most recent coaching change.

Kukashkov was in Phoenix for one year.

Previously, we had Jay Triano for one year, Earl Watson before him,

and then Jeff Hornacek, who was with the team from 2013 through 2016 but we have had a

very high rate of coaching turnover this is especially difficult on Devin Booker as he has never

had the same head coach for two seasons in a row there is very little consistency from that position
