and it is Sunday and that can only mean one thing at a time for Sunday service with your

favorite congregation Paster M Diesel's congregation a

day. I mean that song is something else. They all kind of are always about the same thing which is

either being so shitty and thanking God or Jesus that you're that it's okay now because he's

absolved you or being excited about dying and I mean this song is so peppy and upbeat and

literally it's just about it's called going up and it's just about being excited to go to heaven

and even the lyrics say just to meet Jesus. So they're singing just so happily about fucking dying.

They're so stoked to die to go as they say to the pearly gates and then meet their savior there.

I mean that's incongruous. Is it congress especially when I think about the fucking it's been news

lately like abortion or Roe v Wade and the Supreme Court is hearing some cases that could really

affect women's choice about what they can do with their own bodies and a lot of liberal people are

concerned that because the court sort of tilts to the right now because Trump got to name three

justices that parts of Roe maybe even Roe itself may be overturned and it's a legitimate fear

and it's it's an anxious time for people who deeply care about that and many many many people do

deeply care about that but the religious right is extremely obviously goes without saying what they

call pro life meaning never ever is never ever okay to have an abortion and yet and yet all of

their fucking songs are about death and dying and being stoked to die that is incongruous that doesn't

make sense everybody must be born we can't abort a child for any or not even a child

born in fucking embryo for any reason however once that motherfucker is a person we're gonna make

them obsessed with death and make them really excited to fucking die and go meet Jesus again hey

that doesn't make sense their pro life until the baby is born and then they're like uh pro death
