So here we are in Holy Week already.

Hmm, can you believe it?

Where has this Lent gone?

This is the thing, everyone acts like Lent is always a surprise.

Like, oh my gosh, where did Lent come from?

How can, how can Easter be here already when we get these calendars published? We know when these things are coming months in advance and this year and this year yeah exactly this year it was a late Lent which means there should there should be more time to prepare for the event of Holy Week and yet still people are surprised.

I was chatting with a Catholic shop owner. How do you describe this?

Liturgical goods store proprietor. These are the words I'm looking for. I've done this before. I'm used to talking.

I'm talking to like the shopkeeper and like, you know.

Anyway, so I was talking with the guy that sells church goods and because I

need advice and he said yeah this is really our busy season. The idea of a church story having a busy season, I thought was great.

And then it made perfect sense.

He said, yeah, because all the priests forget to order everything for Holy Week until the

last minute.
