It's suspending New York City operations as the snow piles up for the blizzard of 26.

Long Island and New York City and lower Hudson Valley are literally in the direct eye of the storm.

Governor Kathy Hokel, the latest guess is up to two feet across the city,

the Jersey Shore of Long Island, New England. Wind gusts between 40 and 70 miles an hour expected

from coastal New Jersey into southeast New England. That along with a heavy wet snow pretty much

guarantees the power will go out, but power crews might have to wait for the wind and

died down to climb the poles safely.

Driving is a no-no in New York City from nine tonight till noon tomorrow.

Cars, trucks, even e-bikes are banned.

Speaking of driving, since the year 2000, there's been a drop in the number of licenses issued to people 18 and under.
