It's got a very different format. It's just you and me snuggling up with a little cup of cozy,

talking about deeper life issues. And today I want to draw more content from my book,

Your Powerful Prayers, Reaching the Heart of God with a bold and humble faith,

and specifically want to zero in on

approaching spiritual warfare and prayer on God's terms, not mine.

A.B. Simpson wrote this,

How often we thwart God's intervention on our behalf by taking up our own cause or by striking

a blow in our own defense. May God grant each of us this silent power

and submissive spirit. First Peter 5.6 says, humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand,

that he may lift you up in due time. You know, if you've listened to my show or read any of my

books, you know I've been super honest about my battle with fear.

I have come a long way. I wouldn't describe myself as a fearful person anymore. I'm not fearless,

though. I've still got a waste to go, but boy, have I come a long way. But so in years past,

as a young mom, my fears did not keep me from reacting in hasty ways that could have so gotten me into trouble.

I think it's because I'm a fighter at heart, you know? I'm easily frustrated by bullies,

and I'm overwhelmed with compassion for the poor soul at the bottom of the pile.

Maybe it's because I've been that soul at the bottom of the pile.

Even so, when you consider how

fear was my constant companion back then, you think I would know better than to run headlong

into a battle that God hadn't called me to or to react out of my emotions when I should have

instead responded to that still small voice of the spirit of God within me. So here's a couple of
