For those of you joining us online, welcome as well. And if there are any visitors here, we pray that you are blessed by the fellowship and love that you will only receive exclusively here at Calvary County O'A. It's a special kind of love if you didn't know. I do want to remind everyone of our next prayer meeting. It would be happening on November the 4th here at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. If you're able to come out and join us in corporate prayer, we would invite you to do so. And if you're unable to do so, we'll come hunt you down. Just playing wherever you are, please pray. Let's always stay in prayer. Prayer is what we have. That is a mechanism that we don't use enough of so make sure that we are

staying in prayer but if you're able to come join us we love to have you and pray as a church body

All right on Sundays we have two services this is our second service and for our second service this morning I would invite you back in the book of James

Chapter 4 once once again,

verses 6 through 10. We'll continue our exegesis study in that book. And I will also ask all

who stand who are able to stand for the reading of the scriptures this morning, followed by a word of

prayer. We are back in the book of James, chapter 4, going back through verses 6 and 10 as our anchor verses.

I pray for God's insight.

All right, the word of God reads, but he gives more grace.

Therefore, he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Therefore, submit to God, resist the devil,

and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleange your hands,

you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will lift you up.

All right. Once again, why don't we pray and ask God's blessing our teaching this morning.

Father in heaven, we thank you for your love, your mercy, and your grace.

We thank you for your word.

We ask that you go before us now and open our hearts to receive it in ways that we have not received it before.
